Are there any hidden fees?

No. There are no hidden fees unlike some other online estate agents. We do recommend purchasing ID checks as a minimum when agreeing terms - all fees are listed on our pricing page.

How do i communicate with interested parties?

The Investate platform uses secure and instant messaging, instant viewing requests, instant offers and more.

Is there a contract or tie-in period?

No. There is no contract or tie-in period.

I'm nervous that things might go wrong?

Don't be nervous. But there are a few important considerations when selling your home:

1. Sell your home for the right price. Gather some property valuations from other estate agents and purchase one of our property valuation reports (trusted by 85% of the UK's largest mortgage lenders). Then use our house price calculator to calculate the value of your home.

2. When you accept an offer, we advise that you purchase an ID check (see our pricing page) to verify the other party. We also advise when selling that you use a regulated conveyancing solicitor.

If you follow these guidelines you will have nothing to worry about.

Is Investate the same as Rightmove?

No. Rightmove is a property portal that lists homes being sold by estate agents all over the country. Rightmove is used by estate agents to find buyers for the homes that they are trying to sell.

Will Investate list my property on Rightmove?

No. We are trying to build a community where property owners do not need to rely on expensive estate agents and property portals.

Should I use a traditional high street estate agent instead?

If you're not comfortable with using computers it might be advisable to use a traditional estate agent instead. You'll pay much more but they will manage the whole process from end-to-end.

However if you are comfortable using a computer, Investate provides the perfect platform to sell or let your home and you will save hundreds, if not thousands of pounds.

How long do Investate take to respond to emails and support requests?

We generally provide responses to any queries within 2 business hours. We often provide responses much sooner than this, especially if you message us via WhatsApp!
